PhD Candidate studying early modern texts, queer ecologies, and trans poetics
🎐
PhD-ing takes up most of my life these days, but when I'm not researching, I'm learning InDesign and hoping to work in the publishing industry as a project editor (or even managing editor) someday. Inter.txt Press is a publishing practice for my experiments in zine-making and typesetting. I'm hoping to expand the practice to include the works of friends and peers! I also make other print ephemera and ttrpgs, which you can find on my itch page.
I currently serve as a groundskeeper for Soupbone, a distributed humanities collective founded in 2019. We are a group of friends who get together once in a while and make things at the intersections of research and lived experience. You can check out our site and our zines here.
If I'm not writing or making zines, I'm probably: biking around town / sewing quilts and bags / playing with my cat / trying to code / browsing a bookstore / stretching / playing Q-less / eating potatoes / cleaning the home / reading a poem / cooking green beans / writing letters to my friends / listening to a ttrpg podcast / walking at dusk / zoning out / locking in / sleeping.
